It wasn’t until after purchasing a 2019 F250 CC Shortbed 4x4 with factory 20” wheels, that I realized the top of the cab (above the rear window) wouldn’t clear my garage door header.
I installed a PMF Suspension reverse leveling kit with the 1.5” tapered blocks. This is the maximum drop they recommend that won’t affect the driveline angle or require different shocks.
Close but no cigar.
I’m still about 1/2” too tall.
Can I install a pair of lowering shackles, in conjunction with the shorter blocks, to gain the extra 1/2” (or more) of drop that I’m needing?
Will the addition of shackles cause driveline issues, or handling problems, or the need for different shocks?
