So long story short, installed a 2.5 inch Icon on the truck couple weekends ago and all of that went smoothly. Dropped it off for an alignment, the shop, clearly didnt know what they were doing and to do the drivers side castor shims, it took them 7 hours. I had an astronomical bill and was definitely not happy as i had to leave it to go back to NJ (was working on my truck at my buddies in PA) Anyways.. picked up my truck from my buddy a week later. Him and his wife had been driving it all week no problem. Within 15 miles of me picking it up, it throws an abs light and then it turns off. i checked the abs connections and they were tight. drove a bit longer, light turns on and stays on. i pull over check everything again, unlock the hubs as i forgot to when i picked the truck up from my buddy, (he had it up on his property) light goes off for a while then turns back on and hasnt gone off again. I pulled the P0500 code off the truck for the VSS circuit fault, but i havent had the time to tear it apart or even figure out where the sensor is. I'm assuming somewhere in the hub, and i'm assuming the drivers side. Anyways, will I be hurting anything driving it to OH from NJ Thursday, back on Monday with the light on, will it effect anything? i really dont want to drive my car all the way over and back. If i was alone it would be a different story but i'll have my dad with me as well. I'm guessing the shop damaged something aligning the truck. which pisses me off because it was perfect when i dropped it off. I also installed 35's but i wouldnt expect that to set a VSS light. Thoughts?
