Just send the broken injectors back as cores. I sent back a lot of 6.7 injectors that were fubared due to broken hold downs, there is a tsb about it. Never had any issues with them denying a core. 6.0, 6.4 injectors full of water no problems and this was at the dealer.

Final assembly starts tomorrow. On the injector lines do I need to torque them? Or is it basically tight plus one flat?

I think torque is 106 in lbs and then 60 degree one flat

Id wait til someone better informed can verify or correct

Shone is right. 106 plus one flat of the nut. I always go by the ford spec. There is a procedure iirc injectors go to like 3 psi then the rail bolts are supposed to be one thread loose, lines torque to 106in# then injectors to 28ft# then rail bolts to 28, finally turn one flat of the line nut. I may be off a little but not by much.
I know guys who just tighten them but I have heard of several leaks that way, its not worth the worry to me to not go by the book. I can get you the info from the manual tomorrow if you need it.

What is the best way to bleed the fuel system after installing dual pumps and a new low pressure system? I just don't want to send any dirty fuel into all this new stuff.

When I did it I ran my returns into a bucket and ran the low pressure pump till fuel flowed out without air. Other than that you can't do anything on the high pressure side.

Ran into an issue with my dual fueler. The exhaust housing is too close to the fuel lines. Right now it is barely touching and I have some fire sleeve between it and the housing. Any ideas? The lines are pulled over as far as I can get them.

After looking another Midwest setup with Max Powers I guess that is just how it is. Hopefully between the fire sleeve and a turbo blanket I will be good.

They are bent over as far as they can go. The engine harness is there as well as the plastic coolant line. If I take the fire sleeve off the lines are not touching and with the fire sleeve on it barely touches.

I'd say leave that fire sleeve since it's already on and you won't have any issues. Just my opinion.

That's what I'm thinking. I plan to get a turbo blanket as well so that should help.

IT RUNS!!!! Bad news is I somehow broke the plastic coolant line that goes to the passenger side valve cover

:cursing:. So it looks like the low pressure turbo is coming back out.

Yeah I hate it too. It broke right where it bolts to the motor. I thought I might have heard it crack when I was reinstalling it and said to my self "I hope that line didn't just crack". I'll pick up a new one tomorrow:lame:. I still need to run the water lines for the turbos anyway.
