mpg tuning

Ive got a 2000 f250 crew 4x4. Im wondering whats average mpg, and whats the best tuner for increased mpg?

id say 14-15 is average. most custom tuned chips help increase mileage a little... most is in how you drive.

I get around 15 MPG and I drive it hard but I don't drive my truck for fuel mileage

Ive seen people knock into the low 20s.. friend of mine had an 01 excursion on 35s, and claimed to be getting 21-22, with a DP tuner.. Granted, his wife was driving. Lol.

Custom shop round here told me id get 20-24 with the evo edge tuner. Anyone ever hear of it, know anything bout it?

Thats what i thought. So is it worth picking up a used superchips for 200 for mpg reasons?

No, you can pick up used TS chips for that much, Then later spend $150 and get it reburned when you do other mods.

most ive seen on the highway in my economy tune was 15.5 cruising at 70....
lowest i've seen in my daily tune was 6.8.. but thats just starting up to drive 2ish miles in the city....
I don't even bother calculating it anymore. I already accelerate as slow as possible and try to time red lights so its never going to get any better

have you tried cleaning the ebp tubes and sensor.

I'm running consistent 13.6 stock. My wife drives it like a grandma. Starting to scratch my head thinking something is wrong seeing these numbers.
