I used green 6120 loctite, came with the cups from riffraff. The difference is the sealing clearance for what the specific loctite is rated for. Take your time, make a dry, oil free seal

Are you looking to build an engine? Sounds like a lot of work for 70k less miles?

Also still have the long block for sale, head gasket out around #8 cyl. The engine was not cooked, caught it in time. Could replace HGs and run it or would be an excellent builder engine. 190k on engine. $500 and you figure out how to get it home.

Yes, I bought it from jegs. I found the receipt and was purchased Jan 2013. Last used Nov 2013. That's the second I had and had good luck with them. My last one lasted over 3 years.

190k on the running HPOP, it has been removed once to fix the non serviceable plug.

Clutch and flywheel spoken for. Still have the injectors, no cores needed.
