How well does that upgraded solenoid work with aftermarket clutch packs? I had the HD kit from elite in this last time and will probably go with the same or maybe their comp kit this time.

That's what I figured. It was just rebuilt a little over a year ago though and doesn't have that many miles on it. I'll try change out those solenoids and put new fluid in it. Hope for the best I guess. Was hoping to pull with it this weekend but that's not looking good.

So we just put the engine in this past weekend and took the truck out for a test drive. First mile or two went fine then it revved like it missed at gear shifting up and now it's been acting up ever since. Reverse has a long delay before it shifts into gear and it doesn't always let you shift...

RCD also has 2 options for the 59 with either a 7 blade wheel or 11 blade. I believe the 11 blade is designed for people that will see higher rpms and pressures. More of a top end unit

I have been running the RCD converter for over a year with about a dozen pulls on it and a lot of hard driving. I drove it everyday for a work truck during the week and never had a single issue. But I think if I was buying a new one I would try the DPC 13"

I run Spartan and don't have any complaints. It runs extremely well for canned tunes. It has safety defuel added into their smaller tunes that I use when towing and daily driving. But if you plan on getting into more extensive mods like twin pumps and more than stock appearing turbos I would go...

If you have headstuds to do and stuff yet I would probably just pull the cab. If you go through the work to pull valve covers off with the cab on and find something bad you'll most likely end up pulling the cab then anyways.
