oil pan issues..

someone refresh my memory.. there is a way to replace the oil pan on a 7.3 without pulling the engine or using that 2 piece glue-together pan.. but I can't remember what it is..

Hydroboost issue?

Anyone have to replace a hydroboost unit because it was causing the brakes to drag? Mine will just about bring the truck to a stop dragging so hard, then you hear a couple of pops out of the dash and the drag dissipates and the truck rolls free. According to Identifix, the average mileage...

second time in 50 years I've had to do this..

pull the rear driveshaft, lock in the hubs, and drive a FWD pickup... I'm getting the slip yoke and splines replaced in Mighty Whitey.. can't down the truck.. first time, I was mudding my old Power Wagon and spun the rear shaft into a neat little pretzel...

place your bets..

Had to ether start mighty whitey to leave work last night.. stopped by O'Really? Auto Parts on the way home and got glow plugs and a relay.. it's been plugged in all night, BUT.. it's also 0* out.. think it will start so I can put it in the barn to work on it?

Forum sub-name/callsign

Any chance you could add a user specified forum sub-name where the name and rank appear by the avatar? maybe call it a "call sign" to keep the theme? that would :jammin: and I would :bowfast: I'm not trying to be a :postwhore2: and I won't hold my breath, but I might :popcorn:
