15 pump whine at idle

I have noticed that my 15 will make a whining sound sometimes at idle. Sounds almost like a old power steering pump when they would be low on fluid and you would turn the wheel. Just wondering if anyone knows what the sound is? Honestly have not looked much into it but just curious. I am assuming it is normal.
