Well, the time has come that my 175s need to be gone through, they came from warren and are going back in the next week, talked to them on the phone and they suggested bumping them to 190s with 30% nozzle instead, what differences will i see? are these truly better for me? I have a MTW stage 3 (68mm vgt) i tow with it etc, im a little leary as i know what i had and how it ran, just would maybe like to be able to pull a little more fuel for towing. whats the consensus?

The smaller nozzle makes it easier to control egt's, sounds like a better way to go for what you need to do with the truck

From my understanding:

A 30% nozzle on a 190cc body, is the smallest nozzle that can drain a 190cc body.

But can pull fuel out of a 190 on like a tow tune and get it to act like a 155 i guess

(I feel like 190/30 is how ill go if i ever quit being a pussy and make the jump)

I have 190/30 from warren and I tow with a combined weight of 22-25k lbs. I had 190/75 before and I prefer the smaller nozzles for my driving style. I have run stage 1-3 of turbos from Charlie and my 190/30 and his stage 2 on TSD tunes put down mid 500 on my 35's and ran completely clean once spooled. With a stage 3 you will have plenty of air to use all of the fuel the 30% nozzles can provide might be limited by fuel but be easier to manage egt's while towing.

Wait, reading the post i posted a while back, a couple saying a 205 can be emptied by a 30% nozzle.

In the injector world a jump from 175 to 190 is very small and you might not notice a difference.

190/30 tend to make more power and run cleaner that 175/75s.

As long as you are getting them modified you might as well jump up to 205s
