1996 CCSB value

I've been out of the CC/SB game for awhile and just came across a RUST FREE clean 96 locally. 4x4 auto. 176K miles.. What are these things going for now? I know the price was sky high, then it dropped through the floor for awhile. Just curious as I may pick it up as a summer driver.

I'm going to be interested in what you find out, I paid 17k for mine in 03, it is a stick which is harder to find, but supposedly lowers the value. It had 160k on it.

I bought my 97 ccsb for $6k in 2010. Bank valued it at over $10k. Had 120k on it. It was a private sale here in rural MO. Hope that helps.

$8-12k around here depending on upgrades. Prices on the lower end generally need a front end rebuild or D60 swap.

so 10-11K is fair market for a clean one.Is it worth throwing a D60 in one to increase resale?
