2008 steering gear differences

Hey guys I have an 08 with a manufacture date of 3/07. I had the steering gear replaced by the dealership about a year and a half ago. It's popping and clicking when turning left sometimes. I was looking at napa steering gears and they have one that says to 7/30/07 and from 8/1/07. What is the difference?

Nobody? Also heard you could put an F450 box on it and that they are stronger but don't know if that's true or if my drop pitman arm will work on it
