I was wondering if anyone could tell me whats the most price to pay for this truck would be. It's a 2010 F-250 King Ranch CCSB 4x4 with 127,520 miles on it. They're saying the truck has a blown engine and will need to be replaced. I talked to a guy who knows the original driver and he said it has a hole in the piston or something. Not too sure on that part but from the sounds of it, it will need a new engine. The truck has a sunroof and the screen along with the kingranch leather interior.

Depending on exterior and interior $8-10k? If you're lucky you might be able to salvage the block and just rebuild with better parts. Otherwise you're looking $6-7k for an engine swap.

So is it worth it to you to buy a truck needing an engine or buy one running for less than $20k in the same shape? Your call

It's a guy that works at the same company as I do. I'll have to get with him and talk to him more about it but from what others have said he just says the engine is gone from what he can see. I considered buying it if I can get it for the right price and selling the truck as it sits or dropping a engine in it and then reselling. My dad just recently swapped a new engine into his 6.4 so the labor on the engine wouldnt be bad for me since my dad and I would do it but idk if there would be a big profit margin with a new engine.

If you can get it for less than 10 closer to 8 there's profit. But I doubt you can unless he really wants to get rid of it.
