I'm building a spare trans and when I did my original trans a few years back the kit came with a steel line and some compression fittings to add to the vavle body to bleed off extra pressure durning 3-5 shift. My new kit didn't come with it. Should I get one for this trans or are you guys not running it?

As I recall Transgo did away with that style kit for some reason. I would order whatever is newest for the 5R110W. They seem to be around $50-60 from the usual retailers.

Main fix is to prevent the case from breaking internally due to excessive line pressure in reverse. PM me your email and I will send you the copies of the latest instructions.

Hope it helps.

I have the kit already that comes in the iron PAC 3. Was just wondering if I should still get that line but I sounds like they realized it didn't do much and eliminated it

I had my trans done in '13, I think, and the Iron-Pac 3 from Suncoast I used had the latest TG kit. Here are some instructions I have on it (will be double post) -
