Hi all,
Working on a 6.0 to 7.3 swap on a 2003 Excursion.
Here's where I'm at:
The 2003 Excursion has a low mile 2002 7.3 bolted in.
I have the front half of a F350 7.3 pickup (chopped off behind the cab, complete bad engine) for all the incidentals/misc parts.
I have the engine and dash harness from an identical 2002 Excursion 7.3 with all the same options as the 2003 swap truck
My question:
The 2003 Excursion receiving the swap has a 4 line fuel pump from the original 6.0L.
The 2000 F330 parts truck has a two line fuel pump.
I'm assuming I want to install the fuel pump from the 2000 F350 into the 2003 Excursion?
I've searched and can't find any info on the fuel pump situation on a 6.0 to 7.3 swap.
I assume I'll want to connect two of the four lines on the 6.0 Excursion and install the 7.3 pump to the remaining two lines? Is is that easy?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
