Hey guys having a new issue, got new computer, this was sort of an issue before, more now though, seems when someone opens a door or I turn my interior lights on with panel dim switch my rpms will be back to normal, yes this makes no sense, any help would be appreciated, it seems to run great when interior lights are on but bog big time on throttle response if they aren't.... *sigh* help!

Check alternator output and batteries.

Check the positive cables, cut back the insulation a little bit and look for corrosion. Do the same with all the grounds. Especially check the big wire going to the alternator.

These trucks are power hogs.

if it has a poor connection at a ground, the voltage is gonna wander all over the electrical system.. no telling what might happen..
