99 6" lift 38s 20s

Just picked up a early 99 powerstroke. This only being the 2nd ford I ever owned. I did some searches but came up with nothing. Anyone ever run 38x15.50s on 20x10 wheels with a 6" lift? Kinda want to stay away from a 8" if possible

It's possible, but you'll have to trim quite a bit. A buddy of mine ran that wheel/tire combo on his 03 Excursion with a 6" lift. Had a Road Armor bumper up front, so there weren't any clearance issues up there, but he had to trim a bunch on the back of the wheel well. Good looking stance though.
