Maybe I should get a heavier truck tho. Found out this normal load for me is a little heavier than I was expecting.

Yeah.... DOT WILL have a hay day with you if you ever get caught. Lol. Might even issue you some orange flip flops.

^^ if your tires are rated for it I wouldn't stress. My srw tire rating is for 4150lbs each. I have no problem running 8300lbs on rear axle, with air bags. The big class one trucks going by weight rating of tires not by manufacturer suggested.

You bumped your head.. I have a class A with doubles, triples, tankers, and hazmat. I HAVE been scaled on the station dock and porta-scaled in the field. Tires are a small part of the equation.

I know in BC when you call for a weight permit they ask for number of axles, tire sizes & weight your hauling on the axles. Never ask what the axles are rated for.
