Hey guys. I'm having issues with my ac keeping up during the heat of the day. I live in south La so its not the coolest of weather all the time. Blows fine in the evening time. Hooked it up to the machine. High and low sides read about normal. Took freon out put some in. Any other possibilities on what it could be? Orifice tube? Fan clutch? Or is it just as good as its going to get?

Measure your drop across the evaporator coil. Measure the temperature rise from the inlet to the a-coil and the return from it. Supply to is at the accumulator. Return from is the line returning to the compressor(cold one). Measure right at the firewall. This is the heat the refrigerant absorbs from the cab and can determine wether you have a charge condition issue or airflow.
Spate123 is absolutely correct in making sure you have the proper airflow. Restricted airflow is one of the top three issues beside leaks/charge level and orifice restrictions. Electrical and compressor issues do arise but are more rare.
