Not sure what's up with the search engine but it never works. I've got a '08 f250 2wd that's stock height and I'd like to get some better looking 20" inch wheels but I'm not sure what size/back spacing I'll need and what tire size will work.

I had the same problem as you. Wanted 20's, but didn't want them poking way the *** out..seems anything that has any sort of lip, does. I ran a set of 2011 20's, and they sat flush with the upper lip on the wheelwell. Ran a 275/65 Michelin on 'em. Looked pretty good, I thought about dropping the rear to level it that way, with the way the wheels fit, it gave it a decently wide/squatty look without looking ghetto.

Mine isn't 2wd but just got some 20x9's for my truck. +18mm offset with a similar to factory backspace. Basically stick an inch out further then stock. So instead of being tucked like the my factory 20x8 +40mm wheels they are fender flush and the tires will stick out a tad. But not 2-3" like the 20x10 wheels.

I ordered a 285/65r20 basically a 35x11.50. I'll have them mounted this week and let you know how they fit

I ran 2014 takeoffs and they were great. I run 20x12 now and they rub like crazy up front. Im sure theres a happy medium in there.

I went the factory 20" route and really like it.

Hard to beat 20" platinum wheels on a 2wd or the 08-10 lariat 20s that Raybass has there

You still have plenty of options for wheels being 2wd. Assuming your going to only be running a smaller tread tire like an A/T or even street tires you want to look at wheels that are not as wide and with less offset. A 0 offset will not stick out past the fenders at all. Most of the 0 offset wheels are 22" in diameter. Since you are wanting 20's try to stay lower on the negative offset. So obviously a -12 would stick out less what a -24

I have 22x9.5 wheels with a 0 offset and 305/50/22 on my 2wd RCSB. And they sit flush with the fenders.

XD, Hostile, Fuel they all make wheels with these widths and offsets to accommodate your liking.

Just search ebay and type in 20x10 8x170 or 22x9.5 8x170 and see what you like.
