Mine has the DJM 3/5 drop with 305/40r22s. It rubs the front fenders every once in awhile when it's running but other than that it is fine. I have air bags on the back and have pulleda 5th wheel 800 miles round trip with it.

Fixed it for ya Jeff !!!! :swordfight: lol...

seriously op.... I wouldn't go any lower on your aspect ratio ... me and Jeff run the same size tires..... I think I go through 3-4 a year just from hitting pot holes..... couldn't see it getting any better going up in rim size....

Is this because of your specific brand of tire? 22s are a no go?

The load rating on a 305/40 was not designed for a heavy truck.

That goes along with any other tire with the low load rating.

They go KFB

I don't tow with it.... so they are actually rated for the weight of the truck .... not with that and the intended use for the truck.... add that with the low profile of the tire... and you end up taking bumps very gingerly....

I only had blowouts when I was towing. But you're correct

What generation sct tuner is the best. I'm looking at a Gen 3 right now and wondering if I should press the confirm button.
