Air intake

I currently have a pretty old aem intake on my truck, it doesnt fit great especially with the 4 inch inlet i have for the ats compressor housing. I looked at afe intakes, 400 bucks? Are they that awesome? What kind of pipe/tubing are people using with the 6637 filter? I don't have any stock stuff left since I bought the truck this way. Looking for suggestions please! The intake I have moved the battery tray and is an aluminum tube. Thanks!

I have an AFE intake that I put a 6637 filter on, and there is no performance difference between the AFE intake and say a Tymar style IMO. Save yourself the money, get some good boots and make your own.

I run a true Tymar intake. Talk to Beans, they sell them.

I'll definitely look into that. I don't think the power war is won or lost with any type of intake but I don't want it to look like some kid's scion under the hood
