Anybody have any experience with King coil over conversions on 05+

Looking for anybody with some first hand experience with the king coil over kit for these trucks. How do they ride, how do they last, how far were they lifted up and did they get stiffer as they were raised?

Ya the direct replacements that you can turn up and level the truck

Any coilover setup, when "cranked up" will put more pressure on the spring. This in turn will cause the ride to be stiffer.

They ride great when only adjusted up a small amount. But you do lose suspension travel.
Once "cranked up" they are not nearly as soft.

I don't recommend them, you can get a better ride out of a coil and separate shock. The main problem with a coilover in a stock application is that the mount takes up so much room you lose travel. You lose travel and the ride is not as good.

You can get the icon 2.5" kit with piggy back shocks for a little less then the king setup

Perfect thank you. I think I may just go with a 6" BDS 4 link. It's not much more money than that

Ya. I'm somewhere between 4 and 6. Just can't decide on the tires. Waiting on first check of the new job to see where I'm at to
