Auto shifter problems

I am working on my Dad's 97 F250 and I have discovered that he broke the part that goes from the shifting handle to the shifting cable. Can anyone tell me where to find this piece?

I rebuilt my two bearings in the steering wheel. Bearings were like 5 bucks. You can find them on lmctruck.com for not terrible expensive

There's an inner shaft and an outer tube. Just replaced my Dad's. Got the parts at the dealer, not expensive at all. From the pic your tube is broke, I'd say the inside shaft is broke too. I can't remember ever seeing just one break.
