I will need new ones soon, has anybody ever used the Rock Auto replacement cables? they seem cheap compared to OE but are they any good?

I picked up the positive wire setup for like $50 IIRC premade and Carquest.

I made up my negative cables easy. Have plenty left over on the spool if you want me to send you some feet to make them up. Just pay shipping.

Rock auto was like $73.00, was the size of the wire the same?
Thanks for the cable offer, the neg isn't near as bad as the positive.

Cable was the same size and fit great. Just had to work it into the holder in front of the radiator lol

I'll call to double check the price again

Napa sells cables that are exactly like the oem cables, I put some on my truck. Remember cheaper ain't always better, you get what you pay for. Our trucks depend on a good working electrical system to function properly. Using electrical components cause there cheaper in price versus using quality components might result in headaches with a truck that don't run right. Just my opinion.

I replaced my cables this past February. Found genuine Motorcraft cables on Ebay for less than anywhere else. Not sure if aftermarket would be even less but I try to stick with MC parts whenever I can.

Try punching in the above on Ebay and see if you find a good deal.
