Just put a new HPOP in a 04 6.0 with 280k+ miles on it. After I replaced it and ran it up and down the road I came to s stop sign and slowed down and it died and won't restart. Took it to Ford and they had it for 3 weeks and said they had to call in a Powerstroke specialist to look into the issue because it was something they had never seen before. So they came to the conclusion that there is a blockage in the block that isn't allowing the oil to be picked up as fast as it is needed so the ICP sensor was working double time and that's why the truck died. So know my options are to A. Find a way to clean this so called blockage or B. Find a new motor anyone had this issue before or can anyone point me in the right direction. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I highly doubt there is a blockage. I would have them check thoroughly for a high pressure oil leak. Also the lpop could be bad, causing low pressure to feed the hpop.

There are several places you can put a mechanical gauge, I have a oil cap I drilled and tapped with a fitting to use at the shop. There is also a regulator on the lpop housing, pull it and make sure nothing is broke or blocking it.
I had one personal 6.0 truck break the lpop, it was so wore the gears bound together and broke. I also had a 7.3 the lpop was so bad when I bought it, if I started it on brake clean it would run all day. With the starter it would not pump enough oil to the hpop to start.

Pull the ipr valve and check the screen. At any time was the screen busted, and needed the replacement screen kit?
If it was, you need a ipr.

If the screen is busted and stuff is on the IPR it needs the screen that filters the oil before it hits the IPR located in the high pressure reservoir under oil cooler
