Hello all,
I have an e99 4x4 that recently had a hard start issue. The problem ended up being a bad battery. The question I have is this. During my diagnosis of the hard start I swapped the Ford CPS for an Autozone CPS. Once the truck was back to normal I noticed the Autozone CPS has a signifigant reduction in overall power and performance of the truck. I'm running a TS 6 with canned tunes and the truck used to be kinda jumpy out of the hole but now it's much smoother with slower acceleration. Can the CPS really cause that much of a difference?
