curious on egt temps

my truck is a 97 with intake, full exhaust, stage 1s, tony wildman tunes, and its intercooled, and im wondering if my gauge is broke cause i feel like its running cooler according to the gauge then it used to. my truck a 5 speed with 410 rear and on the highway at like 70mph my temps are around 500 but i think it used to be around 600. so what are your guys temps looking like
