Really considering putting a Dana 80 from a '99-04 F-350 dually cab/chassis and put it in my 08 F-250. We know these fit, but how close? Im lifted 10.5" with 38's and Elite maxpowers are on their way here so stuff is gonna be breaking lol.
1. Anyone know what the exact difference in width is (at the wheel stud flange)?
2. Are the brake rotors mounted in-board of the hub on this Dana 80 axle? And does anyone have a pic of one in a SRW viewed from the rear showing the exposed caliper/rotor if this is the case.

Where are you located? There is a full axle set here locally on craigslist for a newer truck.

LOL, I am over here in Oregon. Front and rear axles out of a newer truck for 1750. I am pretty sure you can swap out the ends so they are correct on your truck. There are a couple guys I know that are running them on their lifted trucks that are not dually's.

Lol yeah thats a little far, dang it! The bolt pattern on the dana 80 axle is already the same as long as its out of a 99-04 f-350.

Sorry for the lackluster photos, I might have some better daylight shots stored. This is of a dually axle I narrowed for my old 2000. Spring pads will have to be over on your CC axle.

Thanks Buck1 for the pics. What did you do for axleshafts when you shortened the tubes?

Bought Yukons. The have 6" of spline on the end, so then you can just cut the down to length.

No problem. Happy to help. Yukon axles are not the best in the industry but I put about 100k miles on mine towing and hot rodding a d never had an issue. Probably would not last week in and out Sled pulling.
