I still don't get "what the ECM expects to see". So it adjusts parameters so it sees what it wants?

There are just perameters built in for the vgt so.under light load cruising the computer wants to see low back.pressure for fuel mileage. But under acceleration it wants higher back pressure to.keep smoke down. Same thing with at full throttle the back.pressure isn't.wanted keep in check so there is a Max set. This establishes what the vanes in the turbo will do

Ohh ok, wasn't thinking it in relation to the VGT. Just kind of funny we can monitor what the computor wants to see, I better change my bp monitor on the dd.
