Derate because of egt sensors?

Okay, i just installed a single turbo on my 6.4. I only am running a downpipe because my old exhaust wouldnt line up. Engine wont go over 2k rpm even at wot. I pulled a code c222 or something of that nature...tuner is an sct livewire, one of the older ones. Im running idp custom tune. Thanks

I have them plugged in. Just no exhaust going to them at the moment, what do you mean by "dealt with"

Pulled my codes again, just a bunch of codes for egr and vgt and lpfp (im running an air dog) should the truck run okay without the vgt actuator?

Bump, anyone know if the vgt actuator would cause it to have low power? Still waiting on my custom tunes at the moment

Mine ran fine with basic H&S tunes without the VGT disabled. Just throws a check engine light for it not being plugged in. A single tune will run better but it def made power. What turbo setup you running?

I think it may be because mine is an sct. Same way with the egt problem only being an issue with sct. But my custom tunes came in so im gonna try them in the morning

all the sensors in the exhaust must be connected to the factory harness when tuning with SCT. That is why it is way easier to use H&S for the 6.4 platform...
