I got this code and a wrench light on saturday night after changing from a non bunged delete pipe to a bunged one to attempt to fix my high idle issue as per sct.
the code descripition on the livewire was "Catalyst overtemperature during regeneration process" The truck ran horribly and said "please stop safely now" and wouldnt restart for about 10 minutes which is when i just climbed under it and unplugged the sensors and then cleared the code. truck has run fine since then and even before. What could have caused this code to come up? im about fed up with this high idle b.s and think im going to ditch the sct for h&s, which is what i wanted in the first place but i got a good deal on the livewire.
