No studs. So just load the 310 and go for it? What are the odds the head gasket goes with one pull?

It only takes one pull.. Add up how much this dyno pull could cost you if you need gaskets when your done then decide if its worth it. Or leave it on your current tune. My buddy blew his out on the street running his HD 300 file and he's not that hard on stuff.

Do you guys run 4th lock or 5th lock on the dyno? I was planning 4th... Using over drive didn't make sense to me..

spartan 310 tune and let it rip. probably wanna get 2-300 mile on it prior to the dyno pull. should put down around 550 if the dyno reads low... my truck did 547 in gear heads hot street which is rated at only 500 to the wheels, we also couldn't nail it until 82mph anything less and it would down shift, which will cause a lower reading. so make sure the converter stays locked!

I don't know if you did the dyno already but load the 310 and let er rip. If my dually can last 10,000 miles on the 310 LL then don't worry. One thing I got that you don't got is coldside pipe but that shouldn't make a diffrence

Maybe I don't know much about how a dyno works but it seems like the numbers would be lower in OD simply due to leverage. The engine would be less efficient in that higher gear...

nah. just a better/longer rpm range in o/d and less chance of kickdown. power change is minimal between 4th and o/d , usually a tad higher in o/d because the ratio is higher than 1:1 loading the motor better.

Only made 460 on the 310 tune. A 2013 Shelby GT500 comes stock with 662hp, a guy had a full bolt on one here (smaller pulley, exhaust, tune, etc) that should be making well over 800 at the crank that only made 500. Dyno is JUNK.
