E40D Issues

I have my 95 F250 up for sale and have an issue with the o/d light flashing once in awhile when I drive it. The truck shifts good until the light blinks. Put my reader on it and got "P1711 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Out of Self-Test Range" as the only code. Now what do I do?

Warm the truck up and run self test again. That codes means the transmission was either too cold or too hot to run self test.

I actually ended up doing that later this afternoon and there was no code. Ended up selling the truck tonight.
