So I have been running EGR delete tunes for a long time and have never frozen the EBP sensor, that I know of. So it's now full delete but the up pipe is still in place, and will be run as is until and or run into an issue with it freezing.

So my question is, how much direct heat can an EPB sensor take considering it's on a 12in stand pipe?

Can you just remove the stand pipe and thread it directly into the block off plate or in the up pipe if I run into freezing problems?

Cross posted.

I have seen several with it tapped direct into the delete plate, I'm not sure how long it will hold up like that. On the ones I have done I leave the tube on it to keep some of the heat away.

Dont screw it into the delete plate, use the fitting and pipe from the EGR pipe. I had a flexible hose made after the stock pipe broke.

Thanks for all the replies. If it freezes I'll just remove the tube and screw it directly into the EGR pipe.
