EGR delete/ check engine light

Is there a way to make the light not come on? With out having to put a chip on the truck? Just want to do a egr delete and have no light come on .

SCT power flash is how mine was done. A plus is that you get some nice tunes and it's a device for retrieving and clearing trouble codes.

Sure, smash the bulb behind the CEL.

The only way is to either leave the EGR system in OEM operating condition, or with a tuner like SCT with/without custom tunes, or PHP Gryphon CS/CTS custom tuned.

That will only change the fault code that turns the light on. Valve unplugged sets codes P0403 and P0405 valve circuit faults. Valve plugged in will set code P0401 EGR insufficient flow. All with turn the CEL on if your truck is 05-07.
