Egt temp questions

Hey everyone truck is an 06 f350 with sct running looney tune from quick tricks. Stock injectors stock turbo egr delete straight pipe 4" to 6" stacks. At cruising speed egts are are a nice 700 but when I punch it they quickly climb up over 1200 and touch the 1600 mark not long after. Is this normal with stock sticks and turbo running a looney tune. Doesn't smoke heavy. Egt is pre turbo drivers side manifold.

What would be some solutions to lowering them would an intercooler help in basically a stock configuration? Water/meth? Turbo?

That's about right.... I normally punch half throttle when cruising at 75 to get up to 90 and go from around 875ish to 1100 ish or less..
