Engine movement?

Mocking up my custom compounds and I don't want to have any issues. How much do you think the motor moves up on the drivers side.

I've never measured it. The Ford design standard says that there has to be 1" between moving and non-moving parts, such as the engine and anything around it.

I would say have the good open and have your buddy start to brake stand it. But if your asking this I bet the truck is no in a running state right now

The passenger side lifts when the engine is loaded right? So in theory the driver side would only travel down I would think. I guess we will see.

Hence the reason there is a big a*s chain holding the driver side of my motor to the frame. No lift for me

Yeah it will be the driver side. That's the side of my truck that lifts when I mash my pedal
