Fan stuck

Im rebuilding my 08 6.4l motor, the air hammer we have at the shop took a **** and broke. And now we can not get the fan off we have tried hitting it with a regular hammer to no eval. Can somebody please shine some light on the situation thank you

Lefty tighty - Rightly loosey.
Fan clutches are reverse threaded.

If that's not the issue, you may have to cut the hub off or remove the water pump.

So just to be sure you hit it from the passenger side of the vehicle to towards the drivers side

Buy another air hammer and use these -

long punch and hammer. dont need to be big. just hard quick blows.

Correct, from the passenger side, over to the drivers side. 6.4's have reverse threads. I'd definitely buy a new air hammer.
