Gare knows where it's at with a little, Masta Ace - Born to Roll. :D

I dont listen to much mainstream rap. Andre Nickatina is my favorite. His song, Scottie 15 (remake of Brotha Lynch Hung's song, 24 Deep) bumps pretty good.

My playlist would wax those 8's in Garrett' truck LOL

my listening style and system music has changed A LOT over the last few years.

For me some great songs to bring a big smile to your face are more live or accoustic recordings. This is what I can remember that I really like, mostly drum lines or transitions and imaging how the instruments will dance across the dash.

Eagles - Hotel California (Hell Freezes Over album)
Godsmack - Voodoo (from All Wound Up) entire song is sweet, but ending after the song with the rain sticks is really cool.
Godsmack - Time Bomb
Dire Straights - Money for Nothing
Stone Sour - 30/30 150 (used to trip up my Infinity reference subs)
Pantera - A New Level

I know there are a bunch more but just not coming to mind right now.

blackened.

YES!!!

reminded me, I also like Fade to Black and Nothing Else Matters, just the slow systematic impact. One has some great bass in it also, plus gotta crank it at the beginning to get the helicopter intro before the song starts.

Josh ...Money for Nothing makes my setup Shine! One of my favorites. Hotel California - hell freezes over rocks too. I like Hole in the world off the same album as well. Vocals rock.

There ya go Gare!! I'll have to check that out, I get a big grin out of some clean crisp vocals, Eagles always have well recorded material.

Gonna have to check out this Rick Ross you keep talking about too, been too long since I've been up on the rap scene. Probably why I still listen to Coolio and Tupac along with DMX, newest I know is Ludacris and Eminem LOL
