we learned, that if grinding, a sheet does not stop sparks, and the burn marks associated with grinding.

especially on windows.

a sheet to lean the sheet of plywood against was out solution.

throwing that out there.


That isn't just a sheet, it's an actual light weight welding blanket.

I need beer, the fuel cell will get finished tomorrow. Got the cam bearings and cam in the block also.

It sounds like a obvious question, but I asked my local guy for something like that and he looked at me with the wtf you talking bout look we are all familiar with

Well, long story short, the block is still at the machine shop. Originally, the machine shop inspected the block and said it would be fine with just a slight hone job. Now, after honing it a little, a defect was found in one of the bores requiring it to go to .020" over at the least. Still waiting to hear what the final bore ends up being so I can get pistons ordered.
