I was doing fine on the 250 Spartan tune, but decided I wanted to see if better mileage was possible. After switching to the 300 tune, the gauge actually was showing that for every 1/3 of a mile I traveled, I was really losing a mile on the guage. Thinking that was horrible, I switched back to the 250. Even then the mileage sucked!! Is that really that normal, or is the gauge off?? It depressing to watch the gauge! LOL

17-19 hand calculated overall on h&s street tune but I modified it by upping the rail pressure and I changed up the shifting quite a bit. Locks the converter in 3rd gear around 1500 rpms then shifts at 1250 rpms under light throttle. Running 275 65 r20 and 3.55 gears

I'm getting on average per tank city driving 15.8 - 16.2 mpg.. Strictly Hwy is around 18-19 mpg and this is on the spartan 300 tune.. I toyed with the 275, 250 and 210 tunes and mileage on all 3 was worse then the 300.. This is with 35" tires and 3.73 gears and I ran the early lock on all the tunes. Did not like the late lock up.

Another question. With no more power than Im making with the Spartan tuner, S&B intake, and 5" straight exhaust, would traction bars really honestly help to not feel the harsh Spartan shifts?
