Funny noise out of exhaust?

I can drive my truck in traffic for around 20 minutes when it will start to make a popping noise out of my stacks. It sounds just like you are smacking the bottom of an empty 5 gallon bucket. There is no smoke or weird idling. Does anyone have any ideas?

It is likely something is hitting or coming loose caused by the pipes heating up and the expansion form it.

If you really need to take care of it. Get it hot when its making the noise then jack it up get under it and start looking for where the issue is.

I know I have an up pipe gasket out and am wait on funds for the bellowed pipes. I will figure it out this weekend. It is easy when you have a truck you can just sit on a creeper and roll around under.
