Am I correct in that a gear swap will not affect the speedometer and the only benefit from the computer knowing what the ratio is are the gear shifts for the transmission? I'm in the same 3.31 with 35 inch tires boat as many of y'all are and was curious if it is just a simple swap even with the ELD? I'd probably gather the diff covers and do all that at once. I'd know this thing flies the way it is, I'd love to see what it feels like with correct gearing. Thanks fellas!!

Just curious if you guys are unhappy with the performance of the truck with the stock gears? I had 3.55's in my 2008 with 37" tires and 3.55's in my 2011 with 35" tires and they ran great. I later deleted and tuned the 2008, but it ran just fine before. My current 2014 has 3.55's and I'm about to put 37" tires and 22" wheels on it. I didn't think the gearing would be a issue with the amount of power these trucks make.

Depends on what you use it for also. Most guys are fine because they don' t tow heavy or very hard when they do. 37's I would go 4.10. I may go 3.73 or 4.10's and 35's to make my life easier.
