they seem to be pretty available, but are often sold as "109003"
I hate to harp on every one of these threads, but what I'm trying to avoid is somebody buying an ACTUAL 109003 for $1000-1500+ and finding out that it won't work on their truck
best way to tell is look at the firmwear version. this is the number in the lower left corner when you first power up the unit. It's also displayed on the show settings screen. If it's a 1.0.0.x, 1.0.1.x, or 1.0.2.x, it's a true "race" tuner (109002 Black Maxx, 109003 Mini Maxx, 109005 XRT PRO)
A race tuner only works up to 2012 Ford and 6.7 Ford and LML Duramax require a $100 VIN code in order to load.
If it's a 1.0.3.x it's a Street tuner (109007/209007 Mini Maxx, 109006/209006 XRT PRO)
A street tuner can have a high sulfur unlock code if it's a series 1 (109007, 109006) Series 1 units have individual serial numbers on the box label and in the show settings menu
If it's a 209007/6 with an individual serial number on the label, it's a "US ONLY" model, and there is nowhere to input a high sulfur unlock code. MCC tunes can still be utilized.
If it's a 209007/6 with no serial number on the label and a generic 111111111116 serial number on the show settings menu, it's an international tuner and will do full deletes straight out of the box. I have seen a lot of these being sold with a third party 109003 Race sticker applied over the factory applied sticker.
Again, I'm not trying to be Mr. Know-it-all and harp on all of these threads. I'm just trying to save somebody from spending a grip of money on a tuner that won't work on their truck
