Have strange miss after ipr went out.

All of this started after the truck died going around the corner from my house checked a few things found a guy with AE had him scan it was the ipr. I replaced the ipr. Then it started missing I figured it was from air in the system then 100 or so miles later still same thing going on. I now put another new ipr in the truck new injectors still has a miss. Could the ipr going out have caused some sort of issue like internally?
The truck ran great before the ipr went out.
