HELP: Frame Paint question

Finally getting a weekend off coming up and decided Im going to get under truck with a wire wheel and get all the rust off the frame. I was thinking about just using some flat black John deere tractor paint. But I am clueless on what primer I should use and which is the safest. What paint did yall use as well as primer? Thank you

I use SEM Rust Mort first and top coat with SEM Rust Shield. I couldn't be happier with it.

por 15 is a great frame paint for rust.

We use chassis saver and I like it a lot. POR-15 is the best you can buy IMO but we have had great luck with the chassis saver plus its cheaper, has a higher UV rating, and can be picked up on the shelf at your local parts store. (Haven't seen POR local)

2nd on the por-15. used it on my 95 about 5 yrs ago still looks great.
