Truck is a 2008 F250

Had a piece of orange rubber/bushing like material under my truck this morning. Climbed under to check it out. Snapped a picture of the area it came from.

Its under the truck like some sort of body mount bushing furthest back point of the cab from what I can see. Any idea how important this little piece is. Im guessing it just helps keep any metal from contacting other metal when the truck flexes. But I dont want any issues.

Noone has any information on these body mount bushings? I've looked around and it doesnt appear that a aftermarket polyurethane bushing has been made yet.

Trying to track down an OEM one doesn't seem easy either on the internet.

Noone else is having theirs wear away and grind/squeak when you make a right turn?!?

Doesn't look important. Like you said; it looks like just a body mounting point. I personally wouldn't worry about it but if you wanna check it out head to a Ford service center and let a tech look at it and order the part for you.
