Buddy of mine has an 05-07. When cold cant hardly drive it cause it runs like crap. But once it gets up to running temp it runs fine. Put a new ficm on it. Still does it. Has a programmer. Not sure what it is. I think Its stictation in the injectors. Any help would be awesome.

I would try rev x in the oil. See if that helps.

Did you test the old FICM to verify it was bad?

Did anyone bother to test the batteries first?? You'd be amazed at how poorly these trucks will run with weak batteries.

Which oil is he running? Rev x and synth oil helps.

Im not sure what hes running. Only got to talk to him real quick about it. But he says it bucks and jerks when Its cold. But once it gets to running temp it runs good. I told him to try rev-x. Thats his next step.

FICM or sticky injectors most likely. Before condemning FICM verify battery condition and state as well as charging system output.
