Icon 4.5 lift adjustable track bar length

Guys im doing the icon 4.5 Lift and wanted to know what length to set the track bar? The instructions only sa what the stock bar length is. What has everyone set it at to get pretty close for alignment purposes?

Just give it a shot and see where it is at. Measure how much the tires stick out on each side of the truck. Should be about the same. Keep adjusting it till the axle is centered under the truck.

I would add about 1/2" to what they suggest for stock height trucks and go from there. Not sure what bar you have but some allow u to adjust the length right on the truck others you have to remove the top bolt to spin the helm joint

I don't know how different this is but my Carli kit said to have the track bar 38" from center eye to center eye for my 4.5" lift. Hope that helps at least a bit.

Thanks i set it around 37.5 inches and that got it pretty close. I took it to the dealer for an alignment and they said they dont check to see if the axle is centered. Doesnt sound right to me...
