Can low icp cause any long-term damage to an injector? Or if an injector has low icp does it just not perform up to its potential.... would a 205/100 with full icp out flow a 230/100 with low icp or would the 230 still outflow the 205. Any insight is much appreciated.

Not sure on damage, but yes ICP directly correlates to HP. Not in terms of how much HP will be made, but ICP allows the injector to fire at its full potential. The injectors are actuated on oil pressure. If the full oil pressure that your tune is calling for can't be met, then there will be a decrease in power.

All in all, ICP is needed to fire the injectors correctly.

I'm sure Greg will pop in and give more insight

I can't imagine it will hurt anything. It just wont run at maximum potential. I bet a 205 with full ICP makes better power and runs a lot cleaner than a 230 without full ICP.

I don't think it would out flow it but the atomization of the 205 could be better to the point where it would make more power. A 205 can make big power with full icp, full fuel pressure and a proper charger.

Re: ICP readings on cts
We log voltage when tuning ICP. The tuning will skew the calculated reading through the OBD2.

Isspro and Autometer have HPOP gauges that translate voltages to an analog PSI on the gauge.

1.0volt@580psi, 3.22volts@2520psi

(PSI) (MPA) Voltage
0 0 .02v
200 1.5 .4v
400 3 0.73v
600 4 .96v
800 5.5 1.2v
1000 7 1.4v
1200 8 1.6v
1400 9.7 1.9v
1600 11 2.1v
1800 12.4 2.3v
2000 13.8 2.6v
2200 15.2 2.8v
2400 16.5 3v
2600 18 3.3v
2800 19.3 3.5v
3000 20.6 3.8v

You can follow the trend to 4000psi.

So basically by reading those numbers on my cts, if one of them are off a considerable amount, I have something wrong?

If so, what does psi lead to and so forth? For instance (going off the last reading of the chart you provided), if my psi is at 1000, MPA is at 20 and my voltage is at 3.8v, what would be the cause of that? And vis versa for the MPA and voltage.
